On Wednesday, July 16, day 6, we slept in till 8:00 AM which was the case almost every morning. No alarm clocks while on vacation! The water was calm. We made biscuits and had breakfast before the kids and Daddy headed to the beach about 9:45 AM. They were back at the room before I could get things packed for another full day on the beach because of thunder and an approaching thunderstorm from Destin. We let it pass, ate lunch and then headed back down to the beach as it cleared out to a beautiful bright sunny day. We had a gorgeous afternoon except the current was a tad strong. We played all afternoon and relaxed. We ordered a pizza from the bar downstairs at the pool. It was the best pizza we have had in a long time. After dinner Daddy and Dalton headed down for a little crabbing.
