Happy 8th Birthday Dalton

We can't believe it's been 8 years since you blessed our lives and made us parents. Life has been a whirlwind to say the least. You challenge us almost daily. Your witty personality keeps us on our toes. Your creativity and vision is out of this world. We love you to the moon and back. Happy Birthday!!!!

We celebrated your big day ALL day! The morning started with cinnamon rolls and Happy Birthday. We carried the party to Sunday School where the kids serenaded you with birthday wishes and then helped you devour a cookie cake. This evening daddy is cooking ribs and Granny and Grandpa, Nana and Popo and Uncle Randy will help you round out your Birthday celebration. We will celebrate with your closest buds in two weeks at the premier of The Lego Movie.

Christmas Morning

Once again Santa did not dissappoint. It was an unusual year of requests from Santa, but the big guy managed to live up to expectations like always. Mom and dad may not buy the most fun gifts, but we buy practical and needed items which are not always fun if you ask Dalton. Mallory did not seem to complain but Dalton let us know that clothes at Christmas is not acceptable!

The one and only item Dalton asked Santa for...a custom Johnny Manziel mini lego figure. This guy was the real deal. He smelled like fresh paint and all Christmas morning. Dalton was ecstatic! I don't think we have ever seen a smile that big. If this did not reinforce Santa I don't know what else will.

Chris our Elf on the Shelf always leaves the kids a sweet surprise Christmas morning. Theres always a note attached explaining that he makes a special item for them back at the North Pole during his flying trips when he reports back to Santa on the kids behavior. This year it was mini Rudolph and Clarice.

Mallory asked Santa for a boombox...not just any, it had to be PINK! Not only did Santa create a pink boombox it was Hello Kitty another favorite of hers.

Christmas Eve - Reindeer Food

Sprinkling food in the yard for Santa's reindeer to eat when they land the sleigh for Santa. The kids are always so excited for this part and don't let us forget before we leave the house.
