This was Dalton's 3rd year to participate in Maifest, a 122 year tradition in Brenham. Much to our surprise the excitement and enjoyment from Dalton continues and he is already looking to next year.
We arrived early to allow the kids a ride on the hobby horses and to enjoy all you could eat Blue Bell Ice Cream.
Jousting Knight Dalton who weighed in at 39 lbs and was 49 inches tall.
The coronation was followed up with an amazing firework's show.
After the coronation Mallory enjoyed another ride on the horsey with Uncle Jeff while Dalton enjoyed the jumbo slide.
Saturday morning we headed downtown for the parade. Mallory enjoyed watching all the entries.
