Water & Sand = Two Happy Kids

Today was our first full day in Panama City. We woke up to more rain and then learned that there was a red flag warning due to high rip currents. We could also tell a difference in the amount and size of the waves overnight, but we were not going to let this stop us. We hung out in the room while Mallory took a quick morning nap and then decided to head down to the water park which is covered and on the ground floor underneath our condos. Once the rains moved out we headed down to the beach. All in all it was a fabulous day in Florida. We ended up with 85 degree sunny skies this afternoon and the kids wore themselves out. Looking forward to day 2 tomorrow and a little Gulf Word Marine Park action.

Take a tour of our condo - a one bedroom, 2 bath, double bunk room

Hallway with double bunks.

Mallory was too cute this morning. Ryan and Dalton went down to confirm our beach service and Mallory went hysterical. I told her to go take a nap and we could go to the beach after the rain. This is what I found not 5 minutes later when it got really quiet. She crawled into Dalton's bunk, covered herself and took a snooze.

Dalton decided to join her when they got back.

Our red flag warning for today.

But yet no one paid much attention to it.

The waves were much stronger then yesterday thanks to Tropical Storm Don who is ironically headed to the Texas coast while we enjoy a little fun in the sun in Florida.

Sure wish I could have his job. Beach service taking a snooze.

My apologies now for all the sideways pictures. For some reason the laptop is deleting the pictures from my folder when I rotate them and well I don't know how to rotate the pictures in blogger. If anyone has any suggestions to solve this problem let me know.

Mallory would not stand still enough for a picture so the next best thing is her foot prints in the sand.

Floating the lazy river.

The little Tot Spot!

This place is totally kid engineered. There is no way you can get bored with all the activities and fun zones.

The lazy river.

The waterpark that Dalton absolutely is amazed with. He loves the big pot that dumps water once it is full.

The slides are also very entertaining.

We would certainly recommend this place to anyone with kids! It is non-stop, action packed, kid friendly entertainment. Tomorrow night is a "Dive In Movie" featuring Yogi Bear at the lazy river and S'mores. Saturday is Tie Dye t-shirts and another "Dive In Movie" featuring Gnomeo & Juliet. This is the life... Ahhhhhhhh!
