Christmas Tree Farm

This week Dalton's class got to take a special field trip to Martin's Christmas Tree Farm in Bellville. They enjoyed a ride through the Christmas Trees...big and small, listening to the Christmas Story, playing a game of bingo, taking a train ride, shooting the canon (aka. air powered gun with tennis balls) and a traditional snack (hot chocolate and oreos). Most importantly their mission was to pick two trees to bring back to school and decorate for everyone to enjoy. A good, but chilly time was had by all. I am so thankful that I can work full-time, but be allowed opportunities such as this to share his school experiences with him. These are memories that will last a lifetime and this was one of my favorite experiences so far.

The canon...this has been added to Santa's wish list. I think this was the most entertaining of all for the kids.

Getting their candy canes from the magic candy cane tree. (It grows candy canes...who knew!)

After the trees were picked and cut the kids got to watch them shake the loose pine needles off.

After shaking the loose pine needles the trees were ready to be bagged for the ride back to school.

Loading up...back to school they go to decorate their Christmas Trees.
