Lee Co. Jr. Livestock Show

A few weeks ago we took the kids to the annual Lee Co. Jr. Livestock Show in Giddings. Every year it's a new experience for Dalton and this year proved just that. Dalton's highlights included riding the goat like a bucking bull and playing in the dirt with big trucks. Mallory's first experience was pretty low key. In between naps she was able to take in a few things.

Growing up I always looked forward to the major stock shows as well as our county show. I enjoyed raising and showing our 4-H projects so I hope the kids will show similar interest in the future.

Talking to the peeps.

Mallory and Nana

Mallory did not quite know what to think about the rabbits. Uncle Jimmy might have to help her out with those.

Love the expression...the rabbit got just a little to close for comfort I think.

Dalton watching the steer show.

What's a county fair without a snowcone?...bubblegum (blue) his favorite color

Mallory relaxing...waiting for a diaper change.

I think she was more interested in the chickens then the bottle.

The following pictures will be worth some money some day. This kept Dalton occupied for quite some time. If he only knew what he was doing.

One of his favorite highlights of this year, riding buddy the goat.

Uncle Randy and Mallory

Uncle Randy put Mallory to sleep. Oh so peaceful.

Mallory crashed...she slept straight through the loud, noisey auction.

The second highlight for Dalton was playing in the dirt with the big trucks.
