Decorating Easter Cookies

Decorating cookies should be pretty simple...slightly messy, but kid friendly I thought. Boy was I wrong. I opted to buy pre-packaged icing for little hands. (big mistake) The icing would not stick to the cookies, but it decided to stick to anything else it came in contact with so you can imagine it got a little messy. Dalton decided his fingers worked better for spreading the icing. He barely got one cookie decorated and he had to sample it. In the end I know Dalton enjoyed decorating his Easter cookies, but I had icing and sprinkles everywhere.
