Halloween 2010 Wrap-Up

Once again the weekend was over in a flash. Where is the pause button when you need one? I simply can not believe that today is November 1st. We started out Saturday morning with a birthday party, then headed to Giddings to drop both kids off with Nana and Papa so Ryan and I could continue on to Austin for a beautiful sunset wedding overlooking Lake Travis. We enjoyed some adult time visiting with great friends, but Sunday morning reality was back. It was Halloween and we knew what that meant. We had two kids, well at least one, anxious for trick or treating. We picked the kids up from Nana and Papa and headed back to Brenham. We made a few stops including Aunt Ruth, Great-Granny "G", Uncle Jimmie and Aunt Barbara's and then ended the night at Granny and Grandpa's for hamburgers and hot dogs. What a busy weekend, but we would not trade it for anything! Seeing the smiles on their faces makes it all worth while.

This is the face you see when you go trick or treating and you get no candy...poor baby. If he only understood the dollar he got, which he did not want, he could buy that darn candy.
