Monday, we decided to try the sand and water, but we still had a red flag warning. Ryan took Mallory out for her 1st dip and she was terrified. Dalton jumped in and had no fear. After I took some pictures I headed out to test the waters, but quickly realized the currents were to strong for me to stay out for any length of time and I headed back to soak up some rays.
Mallory preferred to be a casual observer.
Mallory tried adjusting to the sand, but in the end sand between her toes and fingers was just to much.
Snack time
Crushing the sandcastles was more fun than building.
In the end Mallory decided catching some rays was her best option.
Once again we had to head up to our room around 4:30 pm because of impending weather. It seems that the storms brew fast, pack a punch in certain locations and pass quickly.
We headed to the waterpark to continue our fun in a covered environment. Thankfully the lightening did not close the pools this time.
Some shots after the storm.
Seaweed continues to hang around. Reminds us of Texas. Guess we were spoiled last year because we are a bit bummed this year.
Once again our evenings are consumed with catching sand crabs. This year they are quite tiny.
Some unusal things people are doing with the abundance of seaweed.
