Last Day...Boo

Today was our last day in Panama City Beach and it was spent in true beach form. We woke up to a jam packed beach. The most people we have seen since we have been here. It was a yellow flag kinda day which we were thankful for. We actually were able to get out in the water without being pushed over by the strong waves/current. We are so sad that our time to go home has come, but on the bright side we are already planning our return.

First thing both kids have done every morning this week when they woke up was run to the balcony door and look out at the beach. We got the morning report...how many people, what color the flag was, etc. Poor Mallory could not wait to get down to the water.

This is what the beach looked like first thing this morning. We have not seen this many people here all week.

The only way to eat fruit at the beach... "fruit to go" = no mess

This was a common site today. Maybe one day!

Dalton enjoyed riding the waves. This was probably the highlight of the entire trip for him.

Mallory even tried it.

Mallory enjoying her very own first frozen strawberry daiquiri - virgin of course, but none the less.

Dalton's bed aka 'The Ship'. These faces sum up our trip. Tomorrow will be a sad day when we have to say goodbye and look forward to the long drive home to HOT, DRY Texas. Sure does make you want to pick up and move.
