Kemah Boardwalk

Before heading home we made a brief stop in Kemah for fresh Gulf shrimp which included a visit to the Kemah Boardwalk. It had been several years since we were there (prior to the hurricane). I have to say they re-built and re-built well. We had not planned on all the rides and kid entertainment that we were in store for. We managed to get away with only riding the train and letting the kids play a game. We enjoyed a great lunch out on the patio at Joe's Crab Shack while the kids watch all the boats go in and out of the harbor. All in all our mini vacation was the perfect start to summer vacation!
