ICE at Gaylord Texan

During Christmas break while we were visiting Uncle Jeff, Aunt Sandi, Ashlie and Cameron we headed to the Gaylord Texan to take a peak at the ICE exhibit. Grapevine's Gaylord Texan Resort was jazzed out for a Lone Star Christmas. The resort was filled with 1.5 million twinkling lights, 15,000 ornaments, an amazing 54-foot-tall rotating Christmas tree, a 7-foot tall gingerbread house, ICE! featuring The Nutcracker carved from more than two million pounds of ice and Kung Fu Panda awesome SNOW tubing. It was definitely something to see. The ICE exhibit was just a tad cold. We prepared ourselves the best we could and they provided a parka, BUT you can only take an 8-degree temperature for so long. It only took a few minutes once inside before our hands began to tingle, noses began to run, toes began to freeze, you get the point! It was definitely a lot of fun and I'm glad we fit it into our trip.
