I have several posts to catch up on but those have to wait for now and will just be slightly out of order.
Saying goodbye...never an easy thing to do...much less saying goodbye forever! On the afternoon of March 11 my Grandpa Wachsmann took his final walk outside to see the amazing spring weather we were having. He got to use his cane like all the times before to kill those pesky ants and then for reasons unknown to us the Good Lord decided his time was about to end and end the only way Grandpa would have wanted it. In a split second Grandpa collapsed on the carport. He was rushed by ambulance to Brackenridge with my dad holding his hand the entire way. We knew the outlook was grim but at 3:22 am on March 12 Grandpa entered his enternal home! The Good Lord had called home another one of his children!
Although we are all left behind heavy hearted, we know he is in a better place. Of course we have questions and want anwsers as to why but those will never be. What we do know is that he is now at peace, he is in no pain and he is now riding his tractors in heaven!
Rest in peace Grandpa, we love you and will certainly miss you! Until we meet again in Heaven we know that you will be looking down upon us and guiding us through life, only now from above as an Angel of the Lord! Tomorrow we say goodbye forever but you will never be forgotten!
