As we get set to embark on our second trip to cheer on the Cubs I realized I never blogged about the 1st trip so here goes. Overall it was an experience. Dalton wanted to play with his friends but once away and in the stands he actually enjoyed watching the game. Mallory, well let's just say we expect way to much from this little girl at nearly 3 and are quickly reminded of her attention span and tantrums. Our patience and sanity was tested on more than one occasion. We were thankful for understanding fans sitting around us and grateful for the opportunity to make it thru the 1st half of the football game. Here's to hoping round 2 is slightly easier.
Dalton with one of his best friends from St. Paul's, Barrett.
Walking thru the Lee Cook Walk of Champions before the game.
On the field for the Star Spangled Banner, Kickoff and Fight Song.
The boys, Dalton, Austin, Barrett, and Caleb.
A halftime tribute to Senior Justin Davis.
One of Mallory's moments that almost brought tears to my eyes. She folded her hands during Justin's prayer.
The boys were fired up and ready for the 2nd half just as we decided it was our time to head home.
