A week ago last Friday Dalton's class took a quick field trip out to Chappell Hill to do a little bird watching. It was actually an awesome experience for the kids. They watched wild birds be safely caught, measured, sexed, identified, banded and released. They also managed to get a touch in before the birds were safely released.
