Groovy Baby

Yesterday I tagged along on Dalton's school field trip. They headed to Bryan to attend children's musical artist, Stephen Fite, in his 'It's Groovy Great To Educate' tour. The kids learned how to say 'groovy baby', 'bummer dude', 'hang loose' and 'far out'. The kids enjoyed a journey of discovery, dancing and learning. Here is just a few of the songs they sang that I can remember: Hello My Name Is Joe, Let's Rock The Vowels, The Okie Pokie, Yellow Submarine and Seven Days A Week. It was amazing to see the amount of excitement in the kids eyes. It truely was a 'groovy' show! After the concert the kids enjoyed a picnic lunch on the grass that then loaded the buses and headed back to school.
