Easter Morning

After church both kids were eager to see what the Easter bunny left. Looking at this spread I think they are a tad spoiled.

Makin' A Nest

Saturday night before bed the kids got out their Easter baskets and grass and made their nests for the Easter Bunny.

Easter at Church

Saturday morning I loaded both kids in the car and headed to church for the LYO's annual Easter egg hunt and festivities. Dalton enjoyed playing games and coloring. Mallory saw the Easter Bunny and decided she was going to be glued to my hip. I'm thinking this might have been a blessing as I'm not sure I could have kept up with both kids. They both enjoyed hunting eggs outside and certainly came home with their fair share of candy, which has magically vanished from the house.

Sunday morning we went to early church, ate breakfast prepared by the LYO, kids helped decorate the cross with live flowers and then we all headed outside for the annual Sunday School balloon release.

Egg Decorating

Good Friday I headed to Giddings to give the kids an opportunity to decorate eggs with my mom, a tradition she started when Dalton was born. It was a bit of a challenge with two this year, but the kids enjoyed it. After they were done they got to get their Easter baskets ready for the Easter Bunny. This was a tad messy, but fun as grass ended up all over the house.
