So maybe we did not get as much snow as we had hoped for, but the day home from work and school was appreciated. After another round of bitter cold weather this week I'm ready for Spring! This is only our second year in the house and we have had a snow each year. Seriously, I thought I lived in Texas. Thankfully it only makes a brief stop. I know Dalton is looking foward to another one because he was dissappointed he could not make a snowman this year. Crazy I know, but he remembers making one almost as tall as him last year and when he heard the word snow he associated it with last year. If only he would understand that snow is a rare occurrence, but he is beginning to think we get it every year. Mallory obvioulsy was only a baby last year so this was her first experience. She was not quite sure what to think, but I don't know if that had to do with the snow and ice or the amount of clothes she had on. Dalton was so excited when he woke up Friday morning that he ran outside in pj's and sock. We did manage to get him in a jacket and crocs, but that was about all.
Dalton tried so hard to get the powdery stuff to stick together to make even a tiny snowman, but he couldn't.
