Dalton's Ocean Treasures class has been busy learning about the first Thanksgiving and how it began. They made Pilgrim and Indian attire and celebrated with a special Thanksgiving Feast yesterday. They enjoyed eating food the Pilgrims and Indians shared at the first Thanksgiving like dried sausage, cheese, popcorn and raisins.
The Ocean Treasures also expressed what they are thankful for and shared their kind words through a turkey for all to see. Dalton is thankful for his baby sister.

1 Year Stats
Mallory had her 1 year check-up and shots this morning. She officially weighs 20 lbs 3 oz (40th percentile) and is 30 1/2 inches tall (90th percentile). She might have mommy's looks, but she definitely inherited daddy's height. To put her height into perspective take a look at one of her 1 year pictures. She is standing next to a regular size chair and is almost as tall. Comparing her to Dalton at 1 year she is a whole inch taller and almost 1 lb heavier. Look out big brother...you won't be big for too long!!!

Birthday Presents...
Mallory was a tad overwhelmed for her 1st Birthday. When it was time to open presents she was ready for bed. I will admit tired and all she was a trooper sticking through most of them. We decided to let her enjoy a week long celebration. She re-opened gifts all week long at her leisure. I think the tissue paper was her absolute favorite. Done with birthday now bring on Christmas!
