July 4th - Fort Worth

We headed back to Fort Worth for an extended July 4th weekend of family fun. I can honestly say we lived in swimsuites the entire time. It was the perfect opportunity to relax and catch some rays before we headed off to Florida the next week. It was also the weekend that Mallory got brave enough and learned to swim unassisted. She was so excited when she realized what she could do that we honestly could not keep her out of the water. We enjoyed a delicious fried chicken meal, lots of basketball in the pool and the older ones enjoyed several games of cornhole. It was a great weekend. One that we look forward to each year.

 

Fredericksburg 2014

The last weekend of June we headed to Fredericksburg with my parents for a weekend getaway and to attend a wedding. We enjoyed shopping downtown Saturday morning, lunch at Hondo's and then a beautiful wedding that evening.

 

Sea World 2014 - Winkelmann Family Vaca

Yes, we gathered the whole Winkelmann clan, well almost all, we missed Sara and Beth, but the rest of us hit the road to San Antoino for Sea World. It was so much fun and the kids really enjoyed having the opportunity to spend quality time playing with each other. Before we left we decided an annual Winkelmann vacation was a must! We enjoyed two nights at the Hilton Hill Country Resort.

Dalton rode the Steel Eel with Uncle Jeff. Mallory just wanted to be part of the picture. Dalton got off and wanted to ride it a second time. He loved it.
