Happy Birthday baby girl! It's hard to believe you blessed our lives two years ago today the same day we remember the 12 fallen Aggies! You are truely a blessing from above!
Here is a sneak peak at some of the pictures I took this past Sunday in downtown Brenham to capture her big #2. I by no means have any photographic skills, but I was pretty impressed with what I got that now I can't decide which is my favorite.

RIP "Gracie"
Last night we had the difficult task of saying goodbye to "Gracie" the family cocker spaniel that Ryan and I got a month after we got married (nearly 10 years ago). We knew that she was getting old and that one day this would happen, but it's never easy. Both kids got to say goodbye before daddy took Gracie to her final resting place behind our house. We told them that Gracie went to heaven and is running with the angels, but then we were challenged with many questions from Dalton including, "If Gracie is in heaven why is she still here? How will she get up to the sky? Will she come back next week?". Then the last question I honestly did not expect so soon was "Can we get another puppy?"
Rest in peace "Gracie". You will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Last Soccer Game...
Monday night was Dalton's last soccer game, at least this season. I see more soccer in our future! Hopefully he will enjoy baseball this coming spring as much as he enjoyed soccer or I may just have to face it that he won't be the ball player I had hoped for. Keeping my fingers crossed. I had difficulty getting good action shots in the dark so here are a couple. Not the best, but my photography skills are lack luster to say the least.

The guys.
Ryan had a great experience coaching soccer for his first time.

Halloween Re-Cap
It's been a long and crazy week starting the week off with Halloween. Saturday evening we went to Giddings to see my parents and grandparents. Then Monday we took the kids by Great Granny "G", Great Granny Wink's, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Jimmie's and then to Granny and Grandpa's house. It was great to see all the family and I'm once again reminded how important they are to us. We are not the typical trick or treaters and so far the kids do not mind or at least don't know the difference. That may change in years to come, but for now we will continue to enjoy our few family stops and then head home. The Cowboy and Bumble Bee were on a sugar high by the time we got home.

They both certainly ate their fair share of candy at Great-Granny Wink's.
Trick or Treating at Aunt Barbara and Uncle Jimmie's house.
Mallory and Granny checking out all the treats.
More Legos. This boy is in LOVE and let me tell you he can build anything instructions or not. I'm not sure what this means for his future. I HATE the tiny pieces but it keeps his brain busy!
Kindergarten Halloween Party
Storytime
Snacks
Russell and Amanda Kohring dressed their part as party mom and dad! The bar was set pretty high for us other party parents in the future. It was a GREAT party the kids had loads of fun!
Checking out the BIG pumpkin!

Then it was time for all the treats. Who needed to go trick or treating after getting this stash of treats.

Salem's Fall Festival
Sunday the kids enjoyed the LYO's fall festival at church. Festivities included lots and lots of games, candy and more candy, hay ride, train ride, dunking booth (pastor was hit numerous times), goody walk, face painting, costume contest and hot dogs.
Dinner at Anderson's
Last Friday Matt and Jenny invited several friends over for some chilli which meant adult conversations and drinks while the kids played (nicely). It was a great evening that we must do again very soon.
