Looking forward to our annual beach trip. Sure do miss the white sand beaches and clear tranquil water. The the mid 80 degree temps will also be a nice treat. Now to get our bags packed and enjoy vacation!
We love all of our dads and hope they had a fantastic day! Thanks for all that you do for us! Ryan, we love you to the moon and back! You are our rock on which we stand!
By the end of week two Dalton officially graduated from his swim lessons. He is a strong swimmer but does need a bit more endurance. Hopefully that will come with age and size. Both kids are super underwater! Mallory has come a long way and can now swim about 5 ft independetly with her arrow, which is right on target for her age at 3. Lori will introduce big arms next year as she is still a bit young this year.

Both kids started swim lessons June 3 and were eager to jump in head first and start learning/refreshing their water skills.
Mallory had no issues going under water, but I attribute that to this being her 3rd year of swim lessons.
Dalton focused on refinement of his skills. This was his 8th and final year of swim lessons. We started him at 6 months in water babies. Best decision we ever made to start them young.
This is long over due but check out Mallory's newest quilt. She is so proud of this one and has she has her Granny to thank for it. One thing I did not inherit growing up was any sort of sewing skills. I admit it's something I would like to learn one day. I actually own a sewing machine, but you have to know how to use it, which I don't! So for now, my kids will rely on their Granny for all their homemade goodies.
The following 3 pictures are Mallory's favorite squares on the quilt.
