Last Sunday Mallory had her very 1st dance and gymnastics recital. She was so excited. We did hair, got dressed and then glammed her up with make-up including mascara for the very 1st time. She was all smiles and ready to show us her moves. When we arrived to a packed St. Paul's Fellowship Hall her mood quickly changed. She clung to her daddy. When it was time to go sit with her class it was not happening. She was pulled off me, kicking, screaming and doing just about everything she could to get back to us. We could hear her crying at our seats and just knew there would be NO tumbling or dancing from her. As the girls began to warm up and time for the recital to begin we anxiously watched for her class. To our surprise she had calmed down and joined her class. She had so much fun on stage and was just a smiling. You would have never known the fit she just threw had we all not seen or heard it (I'm talking the entire Fellowship Hall.) It ended up being a great evening and we could not be more proud of her.
Her class getting ready for their gymnastics routine.
Doing her cartwheel which she has only learned since September. It's actually very good with straight legs. She is the second from right doing her cartwheel.
Mallory and her class doing their tap dance routine.
As you can see she was really into it.

Mallory and Bailey, her best bud in school and dance.
All of her pretty roses. Thanks to Grandma and Nana and Popo for taking time out of their busy schedules to watch Mallory in her 1st of many recitals.
