Christmas Eve PJs

One gift Christmas Eve...PJs...a tradition we started 5 years ago for Dalton's first Christmas. They both get a new set of Christmas PJs to wear for Christmas morning.

Opening their PJs.

This year they matched. I was fortunate to find the same PJ in both sizes. They proudly wore their "Santa I Believe" PJs to bed Christmas Eve night.

Can we please????

There is a reason gifts do not get wrapped and put under the tree until Christmas Eve. It's simple I can't stand to here "Can we please?...But mom!...You never let us!" and so on. If they are not there they don't think anything of it. Well this year I decided to wrap during the day Christmas Eve and as I wrapped I started putting them under the tree. Here are a few pictures I took before we headed out Christmas Eve night for Winkelmann Christmas.

Wachsmann Christmas (Extended Family)

We got together with part of my dad's family on the 23rd. Jeff, Sandi, Ashlie and Cameron joined us from Fort Worth and we spent the day family style. We started out by making sugar cookies and ended the day shooting fireworks. If was a fabulous time that we need to do more often.

Letters From Santa

Both kids received a letter from Santa the week before Christmas in a GOLD envelope stamped North Pole! Boy were they excited!!!

Dalton with his letter.

Mallory checking out her letter.

Daddy read both letters.

Looks like Santa got their letters and Chris kept him well informed. It appears they are both on the nice list this year.

Polar Express

We loaded up and headed to Palestine last week to ride Polar Express. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a wonderful Christmas present. The kids had a fantastic time on their 1st train ride.

Just finding out the night before and getting to open their special Christmas PJs to wear for the big day!

Arriving at the Texas State Railroad.

Dalton, Mallory and Grandma

Can you see the excitment in their faces?

Ready to board...

Following along in the book to the story being read.

He was so proud of his ticket once it got punched.

Checking out the North Pole upon arrival. Santa and his elves were waiting for us.

Santa joined us on the train.

Dalton getting his very own bell.

Which deserved a big hug from Santa.

Mallory on the other hand wanted nothing to do with Santa once again. At least no tears were shed this time.

Checking out her bell once Santa left the car.

Dalton showing off his bell he is so proud of.
