Happy Easter

Happy Easter from our NEST to yours! Ryan and I are blessed beyond belief and these two make it totally worth all the craziness of most days.  

 



Easter Party - Frisky Frog Style

Mallory had her class Easter Party on Tuesday. Those Frisky Frogs have so much fun! It was a refreshing sight to see so much innocence. I forgot just how much fun this age is.



Farm Fun

Little Miss LOVES the farm and all the cows. Last weekend she got to spend some one on one quality time with Nana and Popo in Giddings. She is Popo's cow girl. My dad can't go very far without a little girl having a tantrum because she wants to go with him. If he has anything to do with the cows you can bet she will be right there. This time she enjoyed riding in the big green tractor feeding cows, watching Popo give a cow a shot and a trip to the Lee County Jr. Livestock Show. She had so much fun that when it was time to come home she was not ready.

Little Miss

I noticed most of my recent posts are about bubba but that's because we are in full swing of baseball which has been keeping us on our feet. Little Miss is full of it lately. She is our little teacher. She loves to lay all of her blankets out (mats they call them at school) and then each blanket gets a stuffed animal or doll. She then lays with them or reads to them. It's absolutely priceless. This has almost become a norm around the house and we are so tired of blankets everywhere that we have threatened to throw them all away. I know, I know it's her creative mind and child heart at play but sometimes it's just a bit overwhelming.  

1st Game of 2013

Monday March 25, 2013 was Dalton's 1st WCLL Pee Wee (pitching machine) game. It was the Twins vs. the Brewers. The boys played hard the entire game. It was a good solid win, 11-4. Dalton had 2 great hits and scored a run.

Baseball Scrimmage

Dalton had two scrimmages last week to prepare for the season opener tonight. We are looking forward to the 2013 season and all the new adventures it will bring.
