Settling In

After a solid 4 weeks Mallory is settling into a routine at St. Paul's. Last week when I dropped her off I was so proud of her. No tears were shed and she willingly got out of the vehicle on her own and walked into the day school. Daily school reports now say she is a very/happy person, good rester and on most days is a very good eater. She enjoys the playground the most and is enjoying bible school this week. Thankfully those first couple of weeks are over for all of us.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Granny for making Mallory's resting blanket and pillow case. Not sure what I would do without her creative sewing talents.

Vacation Bible School

So I realized I have not posted anything in over a week, but that's because I have not had a spare moment and the moments I have had I have not wanted to sit at the computer. On top of VBS last week our morning routine was also unusal. Granny and Grandpa took a little vacation which meant mommy got an opportunity to get the kids up, get them dressed, fed, out the door and dropped off at St. Paul's. Honestly it was very pleasant. I never had a tantrum thrown and never had to raise my voice the entire week. We made it out the house on time which meant I got to work on time. Yay! Overall our summer has been calm. Last week was bible school at church and this week is bible school at St. Paul's. The kids enjoyed learning that no matter what people do...trust God, no matter who you are...trust God, no matter how you feel...trust God and no matter what happens...trust God! Here are a few pictures I took with my phone throughout the week.

Supper before VBS. Extremely thankful for this because it meant that we did not have to cook a meal all week!

Country Critters

When you live in the country you expect to have those unexpected guests and that's okay except when you have a little guy like this in the garage. I won't bore you with the details but I promise he is one dead snake and we are thankful Dalton spotted him and told us. Now for the rest of his friends they better take note.

Final T-Ball Game & Pizza Party

Last night was Dalton's final t-ball game. They celebrated with a pizza party and trophy presentation. It was an over all great season. Dalton really grew as a player and his desire and interest for the game has blossomed since the beginning of the season.

Memorial Day Weekend

We headed to Forth Worth Memorial Day weekend to spend time with Aunt Sandi, Uncle Jeff, Ashlie and Cameron. We spent our time between the baseball park where Cameron played in a tournament and the pool. It was a great relaxing weekend and was just what we needed to get the summer kicked off.
