Mardi Gras - Kindergarten Kingdom

The Kindergarten Kingdom celebrated Mardi Gras last week which included a taste of King Cake on Tuesday and a parade on Friday. Each student designed their "float" and tossed beads to fellow parade goers. The parade was followed up with a crawfish dance.

I tried to upload the crawfish dance but it's to long.

Sneak Peak

A few weeks ago reality hit. We measured and ordered a cap and gown for Dalton's Kindergarten Graduation in May. Here is a sneak peak of what's to come. I'm not ready for what's next!!

Happy Valentines Day

We hope everyone has a fabulous day spent with the ones they love! My husband and children are my world, my rock on which I stand. I'm grateful for the leap of faith I took 12 years ago today. Ryan, I will always be grateful for the day you walked into my life.

I made chocolate chip cookies for the kids Valentine treats today! Not sure what I was thinking, but they were a lot of fun! I just love my kids!

And Red Velvet cupcakes for work!

Penguin Program

A view blogs back I blogged about making a penguin costume. Well, I'm finally getting around to posting pictures from the program itself. The Kindergarten classes at St. Paul's CDS entertained us with their knowledge about penguins for a half hour on a Friday morning. I also had some videos, but blogger does not like them at this time. I will make an attempt to load them at another time.

Horseshoe Junction

This was the first year that we elected to have one party with Dalton's friends and immediate family members together. Best decision we made. Dalton got to pick the location and I volunteered to make his cake. It was so simple and most importantly stress free. The kids had a blast!

Cake that I made - Dalton requested a football field!

This is how Mallory plays...

And this is how Mallory bowls...

Thank you Laura and Ely for making the long trip with short notice. (obviously the post office did not like my invitation since they returned it to me.)

Lazer tag was a big hit...

Even daddy joined in on the fun.
