Happy 4th Birthday Dalton

4 years ago today at 7:11 am "Dalton Reid" was born tipping the scales at 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Today he tips the scale at 31 lbs on a good day.

What a ride the last 4 years have been. All we can say is where has the time gone? Dalton never misses a beat. He keeps us on our feet every moment of the day, but we absolutely love and adore him and would not trade him for anything.

Happy 4th Birthday...We love you more than anything, Mom and Dad.

Mallory At 6 Weeks

At 6 weeks Mallory weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz and was 20 inches long.

Dalton is very proud of his big sister. I might add he is also a big help when he wants to be.

She is just as big as the bear she got for Christmas from Uncle Jeff.

Mallory's Room

Before Mallory was born I decided not to decorate her room until we knew if we needed pink or blue. After considerable searching I decided on "A Tropical Punch" bedding that I think is just adorable. Instead of buying new baby furniture we decided to transition Dalton's toddler bed back into a crib and pass his furniture down to the new baby. When we moved into the new house in August we bought Dalton new furniture.

Mallory enjoying her new bedding, however she has not gotten to sleep in her crib yet (she is still sleeping in our room in a portable crib).

It's obviously not complete yet... I want to paint the wall below the chair rail and get some things on the walls, but it's at least a start.

Christmas Morning

All I can say is Santa did not disappoint once again.

On Christmas morning when I went in to get Mallory so she could join in the fun this is what I found. She was on her back when she was put down. Sometime while we were sleeping she managed to roll over for the first time.

Santa brought a pirate ship, the polar express train, and a tent... what more does a little boy need.

Dalton listening like the little boy in the movie.

"I can hear... It works... It really works". This was priceless. I wished we would have recorded it.

Mallory taking a look at her new playmat Santa brought.

From mommy & daddy.

Every little piece of paper including tape had to come off.

Dalton said Mallory was to little to open her presents this year so big brother had to.

What's this for mommy?

Boxers...now I'm just like daddy.

Had to dig deep in this one.

How sweet.

The new remote controlled train set.
